Is there a perfect place to live?

I have lived in lots of places, and I still ask he question - is there a perfect place to live?
I'm a bit like Goldilocks really, for me some places are too hot, some are too cold and some just don't feel right at all.
I grew up in Hong Kong, which was fun, but too busy and noisy and way to hot and humid in the summer.
Then on to England which was too cold and wet in the winter, and the 3 days of summer were just not long enough.  Also there was a distinct lack of sunlight that I remember sent me into depressions and made me lose all motivation to do anything.
New Jersey, USA, now that was fun.  Being only a short train ride from Manhattan was super fun, yes the winters were cold and snowy, but they were manageable.  The cost of living was high though, it would have been hard to buy a place to live in a nice part of town, and the place had no soul, it was just full of immigrants all trying to make it home, which made it feel quite unwelcoming.
Minnesota, USA, can I say...freezing!  I know the summers were beautiful, but they were way too short, and it was about as far from the ocean as you could get.  Frostbite warnings and snow on the ground for half the year were not my idea of fun.
Last weekend I was on the Gold Coast, Australia.  The weather was amazing, warm, sunny, perfect winter weather.  The beaches were endless and golden, the sea was warm, and I thought to myself... I could live here.  Then I saw a spider bigger than my head (well, almost) and heard about the recent shark attacks and I realised that I couldn't live somewhere where the wildlife is so happy to kill you.
So here I am in New Zealand, still trying to find somewhere to call home, but its not too hot, not too cold, has the ocean and nothing eats you for fun.
Hmmm, I think Goldilocks might just have found her porridge :)
